The Parkersburg Wood County Young Readers’ Room has special events each day during the week of November 13-18, 2017, in celebration of West Virginia Family Read Week.
Monday: Fairy Storytime 4-5 p.m. Read “The Friendship Fairy”, make some crafts, and get a copy of the book to take home!
Tuesday: Read With a Canine Pal 4-6 p.m. Read with a trained therapy dog. Call 304-420-4587 , extension 504, to register.
Wednesday: Your Teeth will Thank You 4-5 p.m. Share a story and learn to take care of your teeth. Participants will get a free toothbrush, toothpaste, and a tooth saver necklace.
Thursday: A Bad Case of Stripes 4-5 p.m. We will read “A Bad Case of Stripes”, play some games and make a craft. (We may even have some Lima Beans like Camilla Cream!)
Friday: Lunch Bunch 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. We will eat lunch together and spend some quality time reading to our children.
