Hygge (Hoo-ga) is difficult to explain in this small space. It is a mindset, a feeling, and a practice. It originates in Denmark, whose citizens are regularly rated as some of the happiest people in the world. Hygge is experiencing the warmth and contentment everyday life has to offer. Adults can enjoy a cozy environment with some likeminded company to offset some winter blahs. There will be warm drinks, baked goods, and blankets.
We will meets on Tuesdays (Jan. 14, Jan. 28, Feb. 11, and Feb. 25) at 11 a.m. at the South Parkersburg Library.
