The Library Branches are accepting returns in the book drops now. Feel free to return your library materials at Emerson, South, Williamstown and Waverly. SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+ or anyone who enjoys Young Adult books. Returning April 30th and continuing 13 weeks until July 29, SYNC gives participants two thematically paired audiobooks a week.
SYNC is sponsored by AudioFile Magazine and titles are delivered through Sora, the student reading app from OverDrive. You don’t need to be affiliated with a school to use Sora with the SYNC program. In advance of accessing the program, download the app from Apple or Google, to the device you anticipate listening on and be ready to go!
Sign-up to get notifications each week when the FREE audiobooks are available. You can receive alerts by text message, email newsletter, or by visiting www.audiobooksync.com. Titles change every Thursday at 12am Eastern Time when the program is running.

The Library may be physically closed, but we still have eBooks and audiobooks that you can checkout. Here are some new ones available on WVREADS – Overdrive through the Libby app. Don’t forget about the other service Hoopla. Titles there are always available. Everyone in Wood County could be reading or listening to the same book.
If there are two covers, the first is the eBook and the second is the audiobook.
