Henderson Hall Scavenger Hunt Winners

Meet the winners for the October 2020 Scavenger Hunt! Landon Miller was the top winner with all correct answers, including the bonus questions. Landon was awarded Pamela Douglas Brust’s book entitled “The Hendersons: One Family’s Legacy”.

The Rubio brothers, Alejandro and Mauricio Rubio; Wanda Riser-Shawver and Barbara Stewart all tied for second place and were awarded Dr. Philip Sturm’s book, “A River to Cross”.

Britney Ellis, Mike Westbrook and his daughter, and Diana Mielecki all tied for third place and were awarded a year’s membership to The Wood County Historical and Preservation Society.

Everyone who participated in the Historic Henderson Hall Scavenger Hunt, October 2020, will receive a “Participation Award” certificate. The certificates will be available to be picked up at the greeter desk at the front entrance of the Public Library at 3100 Emerson Ave., Parkersburg, during open hours.

The Historic Henderson Hall and the Parkersburg & Wood County Public Library appreciate your participation and are hopeful that you enjoyed your hunt and learned a great deal about your local Wood County history.
