Tai Chi Wednesdays at Emerson

We are thrilled to offer you this wonderful new program!


Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention is a slow and gentle exercise program to help with balance, coordination, flexibility, mobility, and peace of mind.


The class meets every Wednesday at 12 Noon, starting on September 15th, at our Emerson location. Lessons are cumulative so we hope you will plan on coming every week.

Teen Game Nights at Emerson

TEENS! You are invited to join us for Teen Game Night at the Library on Emerson on the first Thursday of the month from 4 – 6 pm!

Join us on December 2nd from 4 pm – 6pm and tell your friends! We can’t wait to see you again!

PS: Do you want to come but you feel shy? Don’t worry! Most of us are actually shy. too. and we promise we will be nice! ALL are welcome here! Give it a try!

An Evening With David Prather

Local poet, David Prather, will share some of his works, including those from his recent book, “We Were Birds” on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m. in the Summers Auditorium. All are welcome at this program.

True Crime Book Club

Announcing our new TRUE CRIME Book Club! The first meeting is Saturday August 21st at 1 pm and future meetings will be monthly on Saturdays at 1 pm.

Stop by the Emerson branch starting August 9th to borrow your copy of the first book “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer” by Michelle McNamara.
