Announcing our new TRUE CRIME Book Club! The first meeting is Saturday August 21st at 1 pm and future meetings will be monthly on Saturdays at 1 pm.

Stop by the Emerson branch starting August 9th to borrow your copy of the first book “I’ll Be Gone in the Dark: One Woman’s Obsessive Search for the Golden State Killer” by Michelle McNamara.

Nonprofits LEAD and Parkersburg and Wood County Public Library are co-hosting a free, virtual “Introduction to Foundation Directory Online” webinar on Thursday, 7/22/2021, from 1 – 2:30 pm. In the class for nonprofits who are seeking grants, you’ll learn how to use the FDO, the most comprehensive prospect research tool for fundraisers with over 235,000 grantmaker profiles. You will learn how to search for grantmakers who have funded organizations working on causes and with communities similar to those you serve.
