May’s Diverse Reads for Teens Book Club will be meeting Wednesday, May 17th at 4:00 P.M. at the South Parkersburg Library branch. The book being featured this month is They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera. As part of this group’s intent to highlight diverse titles in Young Adult Fiction, May’s book deals with topics such as morality, human connection in a social media world, and friendship between unlikely people while also portraying the love story between teen boys. This #1 New York Times Bestseller and TikTok favorite also won the 2021 Flicker Tale Children’s Book Award for Older Readers as well as the School Library Journal Best Book of the Year.
We have a limited amount of physical copies available to check out, but the book is also available on our digital service Hoopla. We will have popcorn available while we sit and chat about the book. Bring a friend! Read the book, and discuss your thoughts!
